Cru fundraiser - Allen Fieldhouse Clean-up

A group of about 25-30 Cru students came met up at the Allen Fieldhouse after the final KU women's basketball game of the year. Our task, to clean the entire gym! We had to sweep, mop, scrub, remove gum, empty the trash, and loads of other tasks. The fundraiser was an opportunity to raise a little money for our students to spend on social events and have a small budget for our weekly meetings. It was a very very long night; I didn't get home until 3:30 in the morning! When we finally cleaned the entire place, the inspection took a long time but eventually we passed it and all went home.

CRU weekly meeting - Love(ing) Month

As an annual tradition, we spend the month of February doing a series of talks at our weekly meeting based around relationships. We call it love month, based around Valentines Day. This year we shook it up a bit. Rather than having a speaker every week, we had everyone break up into discussions groups. Every week we had a different topic and some Biblical passages to go along with it. The series was based around loving other, loving ourselves, and loving God. Below are a few pictures.
